MIDAS elects new chairman

Mr Anjan Chowdhury has been elected the new chairman of Micro Industries Development Assistance and Services (MIDAS). He was elected recently in the 338th board meeting of the company. The meeting also included Mr Ali Imam Majumder as a new director from MIDAS general body. Mr Anjan Chowdhury is one of the key stakeholders of Square Group, the leading conglomerate of the country. He completed his academic studies from University of South Florida in Management. He actively participated in the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971 as a member of Bangladesh Liberation Force.— Statement
