A day-long workshop on "Effective Branch Audit" was held at NCC Bank Training Institute recently. Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board, Md. Amirul Islam, FCA, FCS inaugurated the workshop as chief guest while Khondoker Nayeemul Kabir and Md. Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Directors were present as special guest. Jagadish Chandra Debnath, Principal of Training Institute conducted the course. A total of 33 executives and officers of Internal Control & Compliance Division, Head Office of the bank participated in the workshop. Md. Amirul Islam in his speech as chief guest emphasized on the importance of Internal Control & Compliance (ICC) in banking activities and advised the participants to ensure due diligence for implementing banking laws & guidelines in a compliant manner. He hoped that the workshop will help the participants towards submission of report in a proper way to the competent authority.— Statement
