Al-Arafah re-elects EC chair, vice-chair
Hafez Alhajj Mohammad Enayet Ullah and Alhajj Salim Rahman have been re-elected as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Executive Commitee of the Board of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. respectively. They were elected unanimously in the 322nd meeting of the Board held recently. According to the decision of the meeting, they will continue their new responsibilities for next 2(two) years. Hafez Alhajj Mohammad Enayet Ullah is one of the founder directors of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. He is the president of Moulvi Bazar Merchant Association and Bangladesh Whole Sale Spices Merchant Association. Alhajj Salim Rahman, son of Alhajj Khalilur Rahman is the Managing Director of KDS Group, which consists of KDS Garments Industries Ltd., KDS Accessories ltd., KDS Apparels Ltd., KDS IDR Ltd., KDS Textiles Ltd., KYCR Coil Industries Ltd., Steel Accessories Ltd., KDS Poly Industries Ltd. — Statement
CRAB rates SJIBL 'AA2"
Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Limited (CRAB) has announced the surveillance rating of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) as "AA2" in the long term and "ST-2" in the short term along with a stable outlook in consideration of audited financial statements of the company as of December 31, 2017 and other relevant quantitative as well as qualitative information up to the date of rating declaration.
