Nagad brings 'Eid Bonus' campaign

"Nagad", the digital financial service of Bangladesh Postal Department has announced bonuses during the holy month of Ramadan for every digital KYC registration and hourly cash in. Customers will also be able to enjoy special offers as Eid bonus. The customer with highest amount of cash in completed every hour will receive a bonus of BDT 5,000. In the case of more than one customer completing the same amount of hourly cash in, the first customer to do so will be prioritised. Customers with the highest amount of cash in every day will be receiving a bonus of BDT 25,000. In this case too, if more than one customer completes the same amount of daily cash in, the first customer to do so will be prioritised.— Statement

IBBL receives CIBAFI Award 2019

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited received World's Best Islamic Bank CIBAFI Award 2019 conferred by The General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI), the global umbrella of Islamic financial institutions. IBBL has been awarded for 'Investment Innovation in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Financing. Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel, Chairman of Board of Directors, CIBAFI handed over the award to Professor Md. Nazmul Hassan, PhD, Chairman and Md. Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director and CEO of IBBL at the Annual General Meeting of CIBAFI in Jeddah, KSA recently. Abd El Hameed Abou Mosa, Deputy Chairman and Abdelilah Belatik, Secretary General of CIBAFI, Dr. Tanveer Ahmad, Director and J Q M Habibullah, FCS, Deputy Managing Director and Company Secretary of Islami Bank were present on the occasion. The CIBAFI Award 2019, was established to recognise, showcase and encourage Islamic Financial Institutions (IFIs) that provide an outstanding example to the industry. — Statement
