Padma Oil holds 48th AGM

The 48th annual general meeting (AGM) of Padma Oil Company Ltd. was held at 'Hall 24', CRB Road, Chittagong recently. Chairman of Padma Oil Company Nazimuddin Chowdhury presided over the meeting while Managing Director Md. Masudur Rahman and Company Secretary Mohiuddin Ahmed were present at the meeting. The shareholders approved 110 per cent cash dividend as recommended by the board of directors.

Directors of the board ARM Nazmus Sakib, Sayed Mohammad Mozammel Haque, Ahmed Jamal Khan Chowdhuri, Mohammad Abdul Awwal, Md. Arifuzzaman Miah Tutul, Managing Director Md. Masudur Rahman, Company Secretary Mohiuddin Ahmed and BPC & Company's high officials were present at the meeting.
The shareholders expressed their keen interest and deep satisfaction with the Company.
The Chairman replied to the queries and explained on various comments made by distinguished shareholders.
The shareholders approved audited Financial Statements and also approved 110 per cent cash dividend as recommended by the board of directors.
The Chairman welcomed the shareholders in the Annual General Meeting. The meeting started with the Chairman's inviting comments on proceedings of the last Annual General Meeting followed by comments on the Directors' Report and audited Financial Statements for the year that ended on June 30, 2017".
