PPP MODEL DELIVERS: DHAKA BYPASS EXPRESSWAY OPENS

The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Authority on Sunday inaugurated an 18-km section of the Dhaka Bypass Expressway in Gazipur, a project implemented under Bangladesh's PPP model. Road Transport and Bridges Adviser Faozul Kabir Khan formally opened the section which connects the Dhaka-Tangail and Dhaka-Mymensingh highways, reducing travel time and easing traffic congestion. PPP Authority Director General A K M Abul Kalam Azad said the project reflects the success of PPP in delivering modern infrastructure that strengthens connectivity, boosts logistics efficiency and supports long-term growth.
