Prime Bank gets new independent director

Dr M Mosttafa Shazzad Hasan

Dr M Mosttafa Shazzad Hasan, a certified forensic accountant, has recently joined the Board of Directors of Prime Bank PLC as an Independent Director.

He will also serve as the Chairman of the Audit Committee of the bank, says a statement.

He has extensive experience in accounting, finance, financial fraud investigations, and other issues.

He earned a Diploma in Forensic Accounting from Bentwood College in the UK and was awarded a PhD in forensic accounting and financial fraud prevention from Putra Business School of University Putra Malaysia.

He is also a qualified fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Certified Public Accountants Institute of Ireland.

Dr. Hasan is a Certified Professional Forensic Accountant (CPFAcct) and Fellow Member of The Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants (ICFA), USA.
