State-owned Rupali Bank PLC secured eighth place in the banking sector in remittance collection in 2024-25 fiscal year. Dr Asif Nazrul, Adviser to the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, presented the Remittance Award to Kazi Md Wahidul Islam, Managing Director of Rupali Bank, at the award ceremony held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Wednesday on the occasion of International Migrants Day and Expatriates' Day 2025.
