SCHOOL BANKING CONFERENCE HELD IN KHULNA

A daylong 'School Banking Conference' was held at a hotel in Khulna recently, aiming to inculcate the tendency of savings among students. Under the guidance of Bangladesh Bank and at the initiative of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, students of 45 institutions participated in the event. Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Khulna, Md Sawkatul Alam and Director of Bangladesh Bank, Khulna, S M Kamaluzzaman Kamal were present as the chief guest and special guest respectively. Al-Arafah Islami Bank's Executive Vice President and Khulna Zonal Head Mohammad Ullah presided over the event. A quiz competition was organised for the students and prizes were distributed. School bags and gift items were also distributed among the students.
