Shahjalal Islami Bank promotes Imtiaz U. Ahmed as AMD

Shahjalal Islami Bank recently promoted Mr. Imtiaz Uddin Ahmed to the position of additional managing director (AMD), according to a statement.

Mr. Ahmed's promotion recognises his significant contributions to the bank in different areas of business and operations. He has extensive experience and knowledge in a wide range of banking functions, including corporate banking, export financing, risk management, investment administration, internal control & compliance, human resources, Treasury management, and branch banking.

Mr. Ahmed has 25-year long professional experience in the banking sector, particularly in Shahjalal Islami Bank and Eastern Bank.
