Shayema Akter joins IFIPLC as Independent Director

Shayema Akter, FCA, has recently joined Islamic Finance and Investment PLC (IFIPLC) as the company's first female Independent Director, says a statement.

Shayema Akter has more than 20 years of professional exposure. She is a Senior Director of S.F. Ahmed & Co. Chartered Accountants.

Shayema Akter is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). She is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the International Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), USA, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), USA.
