Shippers\' Council chair to attend East Coast Maritime Summit

Md. Rezaul Karim, Chairman, Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB) will leave for Andhra Pradesh, India today (Wednesday) to attend the 5th East Coast Maritime Business Summit to be held on February 9 and 10 in Visakhapatnam.

The theme of the summit is 'Rebooting Business Strategies' which essentially focuses on how entrepreneurs, developers, investors, business houses have to go back to the drawing board, take a re-look at their business strategies in challenging times.

The meeting will discuss on the topics like Maritime Business in a Changing Environment : Opportunities & Challenges, Regional Developments: Hinterland Hotspots and Coastal Shipping: Carrying Cargo on East Coast, said a statement.

Syed Md. Bakhtiar, Director, SCB will accompany the Chairman.

Two experts from Bangladesh will attend the Summit as Speakers and some other participants from Bangladeshi companies will also attend the event, organised by Gateway Media Private Limited.
