Shippers' Council Chairman leaves for Indonesia

Md Rezaul Karim, Chairman of Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB), and Vice-Chairman, Asian Shippers' Alliance, left Dhaka for Bali, Indonesia on Sunday for attending Asian Shippers' Alliance (ASA) and Global Shippers' Alliance (GSA) Annual Meeting which will be held on November 05 to 07, 2025 at the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, Bali, Indonesia organised by Indonesia National Shippers' Council (INSC), says a press release.

The meeting will discuss on countries economic and trade performance, major challenges faced by shippers, ASA-GSA future developments, Work Plan 2026 and ASA & GSA membership issue etc.

Apart from Bangladesh, European, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Australia Shippers' Council; Thai & Malaysian National Shippers' Council & Macau Shippers' Association and American Association of Exporters & Importer's representatives will also attend the meeting.

SCB Senior Vice Chairman Md Ariful Ahsan will accompany the chairman.
