SHIPPERS' COUNCIL HOLDS BOARD MEETING

The 8th meeting of the Board of Directors of Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB) for the term of 2024 & 2025 was held at its office at Dhanmondi in Dhaka on Monday, with its Chairman Md Rezaul Karim in the chair. The Board decided to participate in the upcoming Annual Meeting of Global Shippers' Alliance (GSA) & Asian Shippers' Alliance (ASA) which will be held in Bali, Indonesia, in November. The meeting also formed an Election Board & Election Appellate Board for conducting the election of SCB Board of Directors for the term 2026 and 2027 and fixed the date of the election. Senior Vice Chairman Md. Ariful Ahsan; Vice Chairman Ganesh Chandra Saha and Directors Arzu Rahman Bhuiyan; Md. Nurussafa Babu; Ziaul Islam; Ataur Rahman Khan and Lokapriya Barua attended the meeting.
