Six cos recommend cash dividend

Six listed companies recommended cash dividend in last week ranging from 7.50 per cent to 55 per cent for the year ended on June 30, 2019.

Of the companies, Apex Footwear has recommended the highest amount of cash dividend.

The company's boar of directors has recommended 55 per cent cash dividend for 2019 against same amount of cash dividend distributed in previous year.

The company has also reported EPS of Tk. 10.91, NAV per share of Tk. 249.83 and NOCFPS of Tk. 86.29 for the year ended on June 30, 2019 as against Tk. 11.54, Tk. 244.42 and Tk. 81.50 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

Summit Power has recommended 35 per cent cash dividend for 2019 against 30 per cent cash dividend distributed in the previous year.

The company has reported EPS of Tk. 4.78, and NAV per share of Tk. 32.40 for the year ended on June 30, 2019 as against Tk. 4.40, and Tk. 31.26 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

JMI Syringes & Medical Devices has recommended 30 per cent cash dividend for 2019 against same amount of cash dividend distributed in the previous year.

The company has reported EPS of Tk. 6.05 and NAV per share of Tk. 68.74 for the year ended on June 30, 2019 as against Tk. 6.86, and Tk. 71.27 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

The IBN SINA Pharmaceutical Industry has also recommended 30 per cent cash dividend for 2019. The company distributed 30 per cent cash dividend and issued 10 per cent stock dividend in the previous year.

The company has reported EPS of Tk. 10.76, and NAV per share of Tk. 47.32 for the year ended on June 30, 2019 as against Tk. 14.48 (restated), and Tk. 39.28 (restated) respectively for the same period of the previous year.

Eastern Housing has recommended 20 per cent cash dividend for 2019 against 25 per cent cash dividend distributed in the previous year.

The company has reported EPS of Tk. 3.70, and NAV per share of Tk. 61.35 for the year ended on June 30, 2019 as against Tk. 3.48 and Tk. 60.15 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

The Peninsula Chittagong has recommended 7.50 per cent cash dividend for 2019 against 5.0 per cent cash dividend distributed in the previous year.

The company has reported EPS of Tk. 0.87, and NAV per share of Tk. 31.63 for the year ended on June 30, 2019 as against Tk. 0.56 (restated), and Tk. 31.26 (restated) for the same period of the previous year.
