Sonali Bank provides scholarships to students

Sonali Bank PLC has been providing Education Scholarship-2023 among 850 poor and meritorious students of secondary & higher secondary level under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). A total of 60 students from Dhaka district were awarded the scholarship at an award ceremony held at the conference room of bank's head office on Tuesday. Chairman of Sonali Bank Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury handed over the scholarship money among the students as the chief guest. Secretary of Ministry of Social Welfare and Director Dr. Mohammad Abu Yusuf, Directors Mohammed Jahangir Alam, Md. Mofazzal Husain and Tariqul Islam Chowdhury attended the function as special guests. MD & CEO of Sonali Bank Md. Shawkat Ali Khan presided over the event.
