SONALI BANK SIGNS MOU WITH BIDA TO FACILITATE ACCOUNT OPENING

Sonali Bank PLC and five other government agencies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) to integrate five services aimed at expediting the process of starting a business in Bangladesh. Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank Subhash Chandra Das signed the MoU on behalf of the bank at BIDA conference room on Sunday. BIDA Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashiq Mahmud Bin Harun attended the signing ceremony as the chief guest. The five services include name clearance, company registration, trade licence, TIN certificate and bank account opening. Entrepreneurs can access these services through BIDA Online One Stop Service (OSS) portal by paying a single application and a one-time fee.
