Sonar Bangla Ins elects new chairperson, vice-chairperson

Md Motaleb Hossain has been unanimously elected as Chairperson and Shahidul Islam Niru as Vice-Chairperson of Sonar Bangla Insurance Limited.

This was disclosed at the 149th meeting of the board of directors of the company held in the city Monday, says a press release.

Md Motaleb Hossain, Sponsor Director of Sonar Bangla Insurance Limited, has previously served as the Vice Chairperson. In addition, he is the Director of SBI Securities Limited, a subsidiary of Sonar Bangla Insurance Limited.

Md Motaleb Hossain is the Chairman of Ha-Meem Group and Managing Director of MH Jute Mills Limited. He is very well-known as a businessman and has long-standing business experience. He is currently a CIP of the country.

Shahidul Islam Niru is the Director of Bangladesh Chamber of Industry (BCI). He is the owner of Eco Agro Farm. Shahidul Islam Niru is serving as the General Body Member of FBCCI. He is very well known in the business community and has a long business experience.
