Thrust on facilitating greater pvt investment between Japanese and BD companies

The 3rd annual "Japanese Investor B2B Partnership 2019" was held in Tokyo on Tuesday, attended by over 80 leading Japanese companies and a good number of Bangladeshi companies

HAISON, an Investor Management & Advisory Services of Bangladesh arranged its 3rd annual "Japanese Investor B2B Partnership 2019" in Tokyo on Tuesday to facilitate greater private investment between Japanese and Bangladesh companies.

Over 80 leading Japanese companies including Marubeni, Sumitomo, Mitsubishi, Mitsui, Itochu Corporation, Kobe Steel, IHI Corporation, ITO Corporation, Sojitz Corporation, Kokusai co., Rohto, Daiki Axis, Daiwa Industry, IKI Corporation, Newjec Inc, ICOSA, Koeki Research & Consulting, Kikkei, NPO, Waseda University, World Business Consulting conducted B2B meetings with 15 Bangladesh companies to explore investment opportunities in high-growth sectors.

Bangladesh conglomerates A K Khan & Co., Auto Trade International, Pacific Quality Control, Shamsher Rezia Fashions, Hamid Group, Adhip Group, EEE Engineering, JAMS Developments, Shital Constructions, Unique Properties, Asia Sourcing, IK Properties, New Vision discussed for private investments, Joint Venture and other potential partnerships in power, automobiles, constructions, logistics, textile & garments, quality control inspection, management consulting, investment advisory services and education with their Japanese counterpart.

This is the 3rd such annual 'Japanese Investor B2B Partnership' program organized by HAISON in partnership with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), JETRO & JBCCI which facilitates Japanese investments in Bangladesh emerging market.

HAISON will also hold B2B meeting in Osaka on 18th April where more than 50 Japanese companies registered to participate.

On 19th April the Bangladesh companies will attend the Bangladesh Business Seminar in Fukuoka jointly organized by the Bangladesh Embassy in Japan, Fukuoka Foreign Trade Association, JETRO, JICA and UNIDO Tokyo. It is expected that Bangladesh companies will interact with about 60 Fukuoka-based companies after the seminar.
