Truck Lagbe and Guardian Life Insurance Limited have signed a contract to arrange life insurance for truck drivers. Anayet Rashid, Chief Executive Officer of Truck Lagbe and Shamim Ahmed, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Guardian Life Insurance Limited, were present on the occasion. Truck Lagbe and Guardian Life Insurance Limited have taken an initiative to arrange life insurance for truck drivers.
The initiative taken by "Truck Lagbe" ushered in a new era of Truck Drivers' life insurance.
A contract to this effect was signed between Truck Lagbe and Guardian Life Insurance recently at the office of Guardian Life Insurance, said a statement.
Anayet Rashid, Chief Executive Officer of Truck Lagbe, and Shamim Ahmed, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Guardian Life Insurance Limited, were present on the occasion.
Among others Maksud Alam, HR Director of Truck Lagbe and Yasin Arafat, Head of Digital Channel of Guardian Life Insurance were present.
As a result of this agreement and in accordance to the life insurance policy, with an annual premium of Tk 250, a driver will get a benefit of Tk 0.1 million if he is paralyzed after an accident and Tk 0.2 million if he expires.
To avail this life insurance, truck drivers need to download the "Truck Lagbe" app and complete the process by seeking detailed information from the helpline of Truck Lagbe.
