Two companies recommend cash dividend

Two listed companies have recommended cash dividend in last week ranging from 20 per cent to 35 per cent for the year ended on June 30, 2019. The companies are ACME Laboratories and Bangladesh Lamps. The board of directors of ACME Laboratories has recommended 35 per cent cash dividend for 2019 against same amount of cash dividend disbursed for the corresponding period of the previous year. The company has witnessed marginal rise in earnings per share (EPS) compared to that of the previous year. The ACME Laboratories has reported EPS of Tk. 6.81, NAV per share of Tk. 86.69 and NOCFPS of Tk. 7.81 for the year ended on June 30, 2019 as against Tk. 6.74, Tk. 83.38 and Tk. 7.46 respectively for the same period of the previous year. The board of directors of the Bangladesh Lamps has recommended 20 per cent cash dividend for 2019 against same amount of cash dividend distributed in the previous year. — FE Report
