Two-day basic training on PPP conducted for key transport, infrastructure agencies

A two-day basic training session on Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) was successfully conducted at the Public-Private Partnership Authority (PPPA) office in Agargaon, says a press release.
The training programme was designed for key agencies involved in Bangladesh's transportation and infrastructure sectors, including the Department of Roads & Highways (RHD), Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA), Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC), Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), Bangladesh Bridge Authority (BBA), and Bangladesh Railway (BR).
The training session, aimed at strengthening capacity of these agencies in implementing and managing PPP projects, was inaugurated by Muhammad Rafiqul Islam, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Public-Private Partnership Authority.
The training covered fundamental aspects of PPP frameworks, legal structures, project financing, risk management, and international best practices. The participants were provided with practical insights and case studies to better understand the complexities and opportunities in PPP implementation.
