UCB has reported consolidated Net Profit After Tax (NPAT) of BDT 2,722.30 million in 2017 registering 3.6 per cent year-on-year growth.
NPAT stood at BDT 2433.9 mn in 2017 on a standalone basis vs BDT 2628.6 mn in 2016. UCB's consolidated EPS and NAVPS stood at BDT 2.58 and BDT 25.49 respectively in 2017. EPS and NAVPS was BDT 2.49 and BDT 24.5 in 2016.
The Board of Directors has recommended 10 per cent cash dividend for the year 2017. At current market place, dividend yield is 5.52 per cent.

Among others Additional Managing Directors of UCB namely Mr. Mohammed Shawkat Jamil, Mr. Ahsan Afzal, Mr. Arif Quadri, Mr. Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid and Deputy Managing Director Mr. Md. Sohrab Mustafa along with other senior officials were present at the event.
