UCB HOLDS 42ND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

United Commercial Bank (UCB) successfully held its 42nd annual general meeting yesterday (Thursday) at the Kurmitola Golf Club in the capital, with a notable turnout of esteemed shareholders. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Sharif Zahir, chairman of UCB's board of directors. Also present were Md. Shazzad Hossoin, independent director and vice chairman; Md. Tanvir Khan, director and executive committee chairman; Obaidur Rahman FCA, independent director and audit committee chairman; Md. Yusuf Ali, independent director and risk management committee chairman; and Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, managing director & CEO.
