UCB hosts month-long Entrepreneurship Development Program in Bogura

United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) has recently concluded a month-long Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) in Bogura, aimed at empowering potential and existing entrepreneurs who are currently outside the formal banking and financing network. The initiative was carried out with the support of Bangladesh Bank under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP), an initiative of the Ministry of Finance. The closing ceremony of the program was attended by high-profile dignitaries, including Md Shakhawat Hossain, Executive Director, Bangladesh Bank; Mohammad Wasim, Joint Director, Bangladesh Bank; Md Ariful Islam, Deputy Director & Program Coordinator, SICIP-PIU, SMESPD, Bangladesh Bank; Md Rashidul Islam, GM, Sonali Bank PLC; Md Shah Alam Bhuiyan, Deputy Managing Director, UCB; and Mohammad Salim Chowdhury, Head of SME & Agri Banking Division, UCB.
