United Commercial Bank (UCB) recently hosted a day-long skill development training programme for nearly 175 agricultural entrepreneurs across seven upazilas in Bhola. This initiative falls under UCB's 'Bhoroshar Notun Janala' (New Window of Trust) project, a key programme aimed at supporting the agricultural sector. The inaugural event was held at a restaurant at Char Fesson on Thursday. Syed Faridul Islam, additional managing director of UCB, participated at the event as the chief guest. Rezaul Karim Siddique, a renowned presenter and agricultural expert from BTV's "Mati o Manush" programme, was one of the special guests.
