United Commercial Bank Limited signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank

United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank on Second SME Development Project recently. This is a re-financing project of 240 Million USD which is funded jointly by Asian Development Bank (200 Million USD) and Bangladesh Government (40 Million USD). This fund will be utilized for the development of SME in Bangladesh, outside Dhaka and Chittagong Metropolitan area. Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Shitangshu Kumar Sur Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO of UCB A. E. Abdul Muhaimen, Deputy Country Director of Asian Development Bank Cai Ll and GM, Bangladesh Bank Md. Abul Bashar were present in the ceremony.
