The 2nd China-Bangladesh Capital Market Cooperation Seminar took place at Shenzhen Stock Exchange recently to increase Chinese investment in Bangladeshi market.
Shenzhen Stock Exchange is the world's 8th largest stock exchange.
Besides, for increasing Chinese investment in Bangladesh, V-Next platform has been launched in the seminar. With the help of this platform, Chinese investors will be able to know more about Bangladesh and can identify the suitable sectors to invest into.
A panel discussion titled 'Riding the Digital Wave in Bangladesh' also took place.
Syed Almas Kabir, president of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) took part & presided over the panel discussion where many Chinese businessmen & investors took part. At the panel discussion LICT's Project Director Md. Rezaul Karim & LICT's Component team leader Sami Ahmed also took part.
e-Generation Limited's Chairman Shameem Ahsan and DevNet Limited's Chairman A K Sabbir Mahbub were also present.
At the panel discussion BASIS President highlighted the transformation of Digital Bangladesh. He said, Bangladesh Government has undertaken the manifesto of building Digital Bangladesh. Bangladesh's ICT sector has shown immense growth over the last 10 years. Bangladesh IT is now equipped with next generation innovations and skilled man power. Also Bangladesh has started to take necessary preparation for the upcoming 4th Industrial Revolution.
