A workshop on Public Private Partnership in Bangladesh Health Service Sector was held in the city on Saturday.
The Director General of Health Division spoke on various activities taken by the government in Bangladesh's health system, said a statement.
The Country Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) raises the role of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in the health care sector in the PPP program.
Mr. Md. Asadul Islam, Secretary, Health and Services Division discussed the current government's vision of the health care sector.
In addition, The Chief Executive Officer (Secretary-in-charge) of the Public Private Partnership Authority Mr. Muhammad Alkama Siddiqui spoke about the possibility of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in the PPP Regulatory Framework and health sector for the implementation of the PPP project.
In the workshop, ADB Health Specialist Paul da Rita compares the public-private partnerships to health services in different countries of the world and stressed the participation of government and private partnerships in the health sector of Bangladesh.
A free consultation is organized to identify some projects in the health sector and to identify how it can be implemented. In this discussion, everyone agreed on the implementation of the PPP method for the construction, management, and maintenance of hospitals.
ADB wants to increase its investment in the health sector as well as investing in the infrastructure sector of Bangladesh. As part of this, the workshop was organized to identify the PPP project.
