ASSET-LIABILITY MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE OF JANATA BANK HOLDS MEETING

A meeting of the Asset-Liability Management Committee (ALCO) of Janata Bank PLC was held at the bank's head office on Thursday, with the bank's Managing Director Md Mazibur Rahman in the chair. Deputy Managing Directors Md. Golam Mortuza, Md. Fayez Alam, Md. Nazrul Islam, and Md. Ashraful Alam attended the meeting. During the meeting, the Managing Director gave directions on several important issues, including strategies to attract low-interest deposits, increase foreign remittances, recover and reduce classified loans, and focus on recovery of defaulted loans.
