Azizul Islam new BADC chairman

Md Azizul Islam, an officer holding the status of additional secretary, has been appointed as Chairman of the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC), an organisation under the Ministry of Agriculture.

He assumed the charge as BADC Chairman on Sunday, says a press statement.

Azizul Islam is a member of the 18th batch of the BCS (Administration) Cadre and began his career in January 1999 as an Assistant Commissioner and Magistrate.

Prior to joining BADC, he successfully served as a Member of the Administrative Appellate Tribunal.
