BADC SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH BANYAN FOR FERTILISER IMPORT
The Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) has signed an agreement with China's Banyan International Training Ltd for the import of 440,000 tonnes of high-quality Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertiliser in 2025. The agreement was signed in Fuzhou, the capital city of Fujian province, China, recently. BADC Chairman (Grade-1) Mohammad Ruhul Amin Khan and General Manager of Banyan Group Li Jin signed the contract, which aims to ensure a steady supply of DAP fertiliser for the country's agricultural needs. Secretary of the agriculture ministry Dr Md Emdad Ullah Mian was present at the signing ceremony.
