BTA Chairman Kamran T Rahman presided over the AGM, while Senior Vice-Chairman Salek Ahmed Abul Masrur, Vice-Chairman Nihad Kabir, Central Executive Committee Members Wahidul Haque, Md Mustafizur Rahman, M Zahirul Islam, Saifur Rahman and Sajid Abdullah Choudhury and owners and representatives of different member-tea companies and estates were present at the AGM, says a press release..
Kamran T Rahman presented the Bangladesh Tea Association (BTA) report on the major activities of the committee for the year 2023-2024 at the AGM.
The association's accounts for the financial year 2023-2024 were approved and auditors were appointed for the financial year 2024-2025 at the AGM.
Mr Kamran has expressed gratitude to different ministries, divisions and departments, Bangladesh Bank, Bangladesh Tea Board, Bangladesh Krishi Bank, divisional and district administration, law enforcement agencies of Chattogram and Sylhet divisions for their continued support for development of the tea industry.
