BARI workshop on accelerating agri research for future needs

The Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) held a workshop on 'Structuring Research for Impact: A Program-Based Approach' at the institute's seminar room on Monday, with a focus on accelerating agricultural research to meet the country's future needs. Dr. Mohammad Emdad Ullah Mian, Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, was present as the chief guest. BARI Director General Dr. Md. Abdullah Yousuf Akhond presented the keynote paper, which detailed the potential impacts of climate change on crop production, the necessity of technological innovation, and various adaptation strategies.
