Bangladesh is currently showcasing its expanding capabilities in the textile and apparel industry at Texworld USA, New York, widely recognised as one of the most significant sourcing events on the US East Coast, reports BSS.
Running from January 20-22, 2026, at the Javits Convention Centre, the three-day trade show has served as a platform for Bangladesh to step into the spotlight with a robust delegation of 15 exhibitors, said a press release on Thursday.
The event is designed to facilitate fresh ideas and foster meaningful connections within the global textile community.
The Bangladesh Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) has played a pivotal role in this year's participation, actively supporting 13 companies to highlight the nation's growing strength in the sector.
The delegation features a diverse range of manufacturers, including Golden Tex, Blue Apparel, Hera Sweaters, PM Sourcing, Excom Fashion, AB Apparels and Design Sourcing International Corp.
In addition to the government-backed contingent, Paramount Textiles is participating in the event independently.
The Bangladesh pavilion attracted steady footfall from international buyers on the opening day.
According to reports from the event, global buyers have expressed a strong interest in specific manufacturing capabilities, prioritising value-added fabrics, eco-friendly finishes and flexible production options tailored to fast-changing market demands.
