Biman increases domestic flights

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has decided to increase its flight frequencies on different domestic routes from Sunday(Mar 25) considering the current upward trend of travelers and tourists.
As per the summer flight schedule, Biman will operate ten flights instead of existing seven from Dhaka to the country's tourism hub Cox's Bazar, a press release said Sunday.
Alongside one daily regular flight, operated by wide-bodied Boeing 737, the national flag carrier will operate one extra flight on every Saturday, Monday and Thursday.
The one way fare on Dhaka- Cox's Bazar route was fixed at Tk 4000, it said.
Besides, 32 instead of 30 existing weekly flights on Dhaka-Chittagong-Dhaka route, 34 instead of 31 flights on Dhaka-Sylhet-Dhaka, eight instead of seven weekly flights on Dhaka-Jessore-Dhaka route and three instead of two weekly flights on Dhaka-Barisal-Dhaka route will be operated under the summer schedule.
Biman will also operate three weekly flights on Chittagong-Cox's Bazar-Chittagong route with only Taka 1500 one way fare.
Biman is now operating weekly four and seven flights on Dhaka-Rajshahi and Dhaka-Saidpur route now.
