BSTI CONDUCTS MOBILE COURT DRIVE IN RAJSHAHI

The Divisional Office of the Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) conducted a mobile court in Rajshahi city on Wednesday. During the drive, the court fined Suman & Brothers, located in New Market, Tk 10,000 for selling and distributing products without BSTI certification. These products include shampoo, soap, lipstick, nail polish, and skin powder. The court also fined Lira Import, located in Theme Omar Plaza, Tk 5,000 for storing expired cosmetic products. The mobile court was led by Executive Magistrates Md. Shahriar Islam Nasif and Sehrin Tabassum Tithi of the Rajshahi district administration. Engineer Junaid Ahmed, an official of the Certification Marks Wing of BSTI's Rajshahi Divisional Office, acted as the prosecutor.
