Anjuman E Mofidul Islam's Chattogram chapter President and Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP), Saleh Mohammed Tanvir, received a cheque for the Tk 1.0 million from Mr Shamim in the port city recently. CHATTOGRAM, Feb 16: Chairman of CVO Petrochemical Refinery Limited Shamsul Alam Shamim has donated Tk 1.0 million (Tk 10 lakh) to Anjuman E Mofidul Islam, Chattogram, for building a multi-storied hospital for the poor in the port city.
Anjuman E Mofidul Islam's Chattogram chapter President and Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP), Saleh Mohammed Tanvir, received a cheque for the Tk 1.0 million from Mr Shamim in the port city recently.
During the cheque hand-over programme, Deputy Commissioner of CMP Md Amir Jafar, Company Secre-tary of CVO Petrochemical Refinery Ltd Khwaja Main-uddin Hossain, Manager (Finance) Md Faruque and Assistant Director of Anju-man E Mofidul Islam, Chat-togram, Mohammed Selim Naser were also present.
Anjuman E Mofidul Islam, Chattogram, a non-profit, voluntary and charitable organisation which has dedicated its services to humanity, especially the underprivileged and poor segment of the society, is building a 24-storied modern hospital for the poor and destitute in the city.
