Ctg WASA gets new MD

CHATTOGRAM, May 21: Engineer Selim Mohammad Jane Alam has been appointed as the new managing director (MD) of Chattogram Water and Sewerage Supply Authority (WASA) on a contractual basis for one year.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification regarding the appointment on Thursday.

Selim Mohammad is a former president of the Association of Engineers, Bangladesh (AEB), Chattogram chapter. He also served as vice-president of the students' union at Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology and was president of DUET Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal.
