Delta Life inks deal with SCB

A group life insurance agreement was signed between Delta Life Insurance Company Ltd (DLICL) and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) at DLICL head office in the city on Tuesday, says a press statement.

Adeeba Rahman, ACII (UK), chief executive officer (CEO), DLCIL and Apurva Jain, managing director, Head of Transaction Banking, SCB signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

DLICL will provide Payment Protection Insurance to Credit Customers of SCB. With this contract, DLICL will also be able to use the Cash Management facilities of SCB. This includes Remote Cheque Printing and Electronic Fund Transfer for payments; plus Direct Debit system for collections.

Senior officials from both organisations were also present on the occasion.
