DUBAI, Oct 20 (Gulf News): Some travellers from Bangladesh can avail themselves of a free UAE visa when they make a stopover in Dubai on their way to destinations outside the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
An Emirates spokesperson confirmed recently that the airline has launched a special offer that allows Bangladeshi nationals flying to the United States, Canada, Europe and Africa to avail themselves of a complimentary 96-hour visa in the UAE.
The offer is essentially for Emirates passengers making a short stopover in Dubai and is applicable only to those residing in Bangladesh and flying to select destinations.
"Any travellers from Bangladesh who are Bangladeshi nationals travelling to the United States, Canada, Europe and Africa can avail themselves of a free 96-hour visa while in Dubai, on their way to those destinations" a spokesperson told Gulf News.
The offer is valid for bookings secured until October 22, and for trips between October 15 and November 30, according to the airline's announcement published in Bangladesh.
Flyers can also get a complimentary two-night stay at the JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai, when they book a seat in first or business class.
