INT'L CONFERENCE ON 'GOVERNANCE IN THE DIGITAL ERA' HELD AT BARD

A two-day international conference on 'Governance in the Digital Era for Peace and Prosperity' was held at the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD). Prof Dr ABM Obaidul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Open University, was present as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony held on Saturday. Prof Dr AKA Firoz Ahmed presided over the session while Prof Dr Mohammad Haider Ali, Vice-Chancellor of Cumilla University, was present as a special guest. Director General of BARD Saif Uddin Ahmed was also spoke at the event. A total of 240 participants, including professors and researchers from 12 countries, presented their research papers in the conference.
