Mexico’s exports register 12pc growth in Sept

MEXICO CITY, Oct 28 (Xinhua): Mexico's exports registered a 12 per cent year-on-year growth in September, the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi) said recently.

Exports generated over 37.806 billion US dollars in September, which was strengthened by manufactured shipments that mostly headed north to the United States, said Inegi in its monthly report.

The breakdown shows that the biggest increase came from the oil industry, where oil exports rose by 43.8 per cent in September compared with the same period last year and generated almost 2.8 billion dollars.
