MINISTRY OF INDUSTRIES AND ICB HOLD MEETING ON LISTING COMPANIES ON THE CAPITAL MARKET

As part of implementing the Chief Advisor's guidelines to review, develop, and strengthen the capital market, a meeting was held on Thursday in the Ministry of Industries' conference room. The meeting was chaired by Industries Secretary Md. Obaidur Rahman and included representatives from the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB). In the meeting, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Industries Rashidul Hasan, Additional Secretary Md Nuruzzaman NDC, Joint Secretary Md. Sajedur Rahman and Deputy Secretary Nurun Nahar were present. Representatives from Unilever Bangladesh Limited, Nuvista Pharma Limited, Sanofi Bangladesh Limited, IPDC Finance Limited, Reckitt Benckiser (Bangladesh) Limited, The Bengal Glass Workers Limited, Mirpur Ceramic Works Limited, Himadri Limited and Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company Limited were also present. From ICB its Managing Director Niranjan Chandra Debnath and Majeda Khatun, CEO of ICB Capital Management Limited, a subsidiary of ICB, were present.
