NBL observes Bangabandhu’s birth anniv in Shariatpur

Zainul Haque Sikder, chairman of the board of directors of National Bank Limited (NBL) and a veteran freedom fighter, cutting a ribbon as the chief guest at a programme at Kartikpur in Shariatpur on Sunday on the occasion of the 99th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children's Day in presence of NBL Executive Committee Chairperson Parveen Haque Sikder, MP, and Director Monowara Sikder

A discussion and food distribution programme organised by National Bank Limited (NBL) was observed at Kartikpur in Shariatpur on Sunday on the occasion of the 99th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children's Day, according to a press release.

Chairman of the board of directors of National Bank Limited (NBL) and veteran freedom fighter Zainul Haque Sikder was present as the chief guest at a programme while NBL Director Monowara Sikder was the special guest.

NBL Executive Committee Chairperson Parveen Haque Sikder, MP, presided over the programme and distributed educational items to 4,000 school students and local people.

During the programme, she also donated Tk 25,000 each for the six deceased of a single family at the recent boat drowning at Buriganga River.
