ON-SITE ASSESSMENT OF RBS IMPLEMENTATION AT SONALI BANK

Bangladesh Bank is going to implement Risk-Based Supervision (RBS) to further strengthen the banking sector. Under a pilot programme, a supervisory team from Bangladesh Bank conducted an on-site assessment of RBS implementation at the Sonali Bank PLC on Wednesday. MD & CEO of Sonali Bank Md Shawkat Ali Khan inaugurated the on-site assessment at the bank's head office while Deputy Managing Director Khan Iqbal Hossain presided over the event. The inspection team will also conduct the assessment on December 4 and 7.
