Prime Bank partners with MISL to install

computer assisted auditing tool `Tahqiq'

Prime Bank PLC, a leader in innovative banking solution, has recently partnered with Millennium Information Solution Limited (MISL) to Kick off the project `Supply and Installation of Computer Assisted Auditing Tool (CAAT), Tahqiq', says a press release.

Syed Sazzad Haider Chowdhury, DMD & CIO; Md. Feroz Al Azad, SEVP & Chief Auditor; A. Y. M. Mostafa, Chief Technology Officer of Prime Bank PLC. And Mahmud Hossain, MD and CEO of MISL and high officials of both the organisations were present at the event held at the Head Office of Prime Bank PLC.

Under this agreement, MISL will incorporate the computerized automated auditing tool for the bank which will automate the internal auditing process by collecting and processing business risk data from CBS, control risk data from internal audit observation and core risk elements defined by Bangladesh Bank.

It will also assist auditors to schedule, plan, execute, review and report in paperless manner. With the help of "Tahqiq" of Computer Assisted Auditing Tool (CAAT), audit departments of all sizes will be able to spend more time in providing value-added service and less time in documenting and reviewing.
