ROK economy continues to recover

SEOUL, Apr 13 (Xinhua): South Korea's economy continued a recovery trend despite the worsening labor market conditions, a government report said Friday.

The finance ministry said in its monthly report on economic situations, called the Green Book, that production, consumer spending and facility investment continued a growth trend thanks to brisk exports.

Production in all industries was unchanged in February from the previous month, but the output in the mining and manufacturing industries expanded 1.1 per cent on expanded production in automobiles and semiconductors.
