Shanghai gold futures higher

SHANGHAI, Sept 16 (Xinhua): Gold futures higher Monday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.

The most active gold contract for December delivery was up 1.0 yuan (about 14 US cents) to open at 346.2 yuan a gram.
