Sony's digital warranty service launched

To prevent the marketing of counterfeit or refurbished products, Sony's official distributor in Bangladesh, Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd., known as Sony-Smart, is now ensuring the digital warranty of Japanese world-famous 'Sony' brand in the country, says a statement.

Sony's digital warranty service in Bangladesh was recently inaugurated by RMDC Sony South-East Asia President Ji Hoon Bae and Smart Technology (BD) Ltd. Managing Director Mohammad Zahirul Islam.

The event, held at Zahir Smart Tower in Dhaka, was attended by Ricky Lucas, Head of Sony International Bangladesh Branch, Sony-Smart Director Md. Tanvir Hossain, Head of Sales and General Manager Md. Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury, and Head of Marketing and Deputy General Manager Azad Rahman.

With the launch of Sony's digital warranty service, customers will now be able to immediately verify whether the product is genuine or fake when purchasing Sony products from Sony-Smart, and will also be able to register the warranty.

Through this digital warranty, buyers will easily get service at authorised Sony service centres. There is no need to keep any separate documents as proof of warranty. It will clearly mention which services are covered by the warranty and which are not, and since it is recorded digitally, proof of ownership (name, address, date of purchase) can be easily presented, which will help resolve any disputes.

On the occasion of the launch of Sony's digital warranty service, Sony Smart has announced special mind-blowing prices for Sony Smart's eight models of 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch and 85-inch sizes, Sony Bravia 2025 latest 4K Google and OLED 4K Google TV, which will be available until the day before Eid al-Adha at all Sony Smart showrooms and authorised sales centres in the country.

In addition, there is a chance to win guaranteed gifts, including refrigerators, microwave ovens, air coolers, rechargeable fans, depending on the product model.
